Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, and knowledgeable, NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System) licensed, Qualified Individual/Residential, and Commercial, Principal Mortgage Loan Originators to join, and lead, our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal, and state, regulations and compliance, finances, and residential and commercial mortgage-financing loan origination, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service throughout the real estate, and residential, and commercial, mortgage-financing, process.

This role involves working closely with customers/clients to assess their financial needs, guiding them through the residential, and commercial, loan application, and residential, and commercial, mortgage-financing, process, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualified Individual/Residential, and Commercial, Principal Mortgage Loan Originators Responsibilities

Evaluate, and analyze, customers/clients financial information to determine loan eligibility.

Residential, and Commercial, Mortgage-Financing Loan Originator Responsibilities

• Evaluate, and analyze, customers/clients financial information to determine loan eligibility.
• Guide customers/clients through the loan origination process, providing clear explanations of terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with account executives, and underwriters, to facilitate timely approval of loans.
• Negotiate loan terms and conditions with customers/clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customers/client communications.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing customer/client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Adhere to any, and all, federal, and state, mortgage-financing, laws, rules, and compliance.
• Adhere to our Code-of-Ethics.
• Stay informed about commercial industry trends, regulations, and commercial mortgage backed securities guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA residential guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work collaboratively with teams to drive business growth.
• Build, and cultivate, a peer-to-peer, and peer-to-business, Book-of-Business with industry professionals such as real estate associates, real estate companies, developers, attorneys, title companies, etc.
  
  

Residential, and Commercial, Mortgage-Financing Loan Originator Qualifications

• Proven, bona fide, and verifiable experience in residential, and commercial, mortgage-financing loan origination, or related financial-related, roles.
• Strong understanding of residential underwriting processes and escrow procedures.
• Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to loans.
• Proficient in loan origination software software, and other relevant technology tools.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with customers/clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage backed securities, and FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA, guidelines.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage backed securities guidelines.
• Working knowledge in Portuguese, Spanish, French/Haitian-Creole, and/or other languages not required, but ideal.
